Build the style record first
Start with the product photo, name, brand and prices. Review the article type and supported apparel attributes such as fabric, pattern, neck, sleeve, fit and occasion. A style needs a coherent description: the copy, structured fields and images should all describe the same garment.
- Choose the article type that actually describes the garment.
- Confirm material and care details from a reliable source.
- Review category choices instead of forcing free text into an allowed-value field.
Keep sizes and style-level information separate
One product may create several catalog rows. A kurta offered in S, M, L and XL has four size rows, even when its description is shared. Check each size-specific SKU and measurement against the style. This distinction also matters for workspace allowances: a listing row represents one size of one product.
Prepare Myntra images as a separate handoff
In the EcommerceListing Myntra export workflow, catalog workbook image columns remain blank. Upload product images separately through the Myntra Partner Portal. Keep image sets labelled by style and colour so that the person uploading the catalog can match them accurately. Do not assume a hosted URL in another marketplace export completes this step.
Resolve catalog warnings before handoff
Review required fields and the available category choices, then export the workbook. Keep the generated file, the source style record and the image set together. The portal may report further issues under its current rules; correct those against the product facts rather than changing values merely to get past a warning.
